A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you contact us regarding our products and services, we will work with your contact details that you provide to us, mainly through the contact form.
For what reason?
Based on the submitted personal data, we will subsequently contact you regarding our offer of goods or services.
On what legal basis?
This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, or taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request.
If you did not provide us with this personal data, we would not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of concluding a contract for the supply of our goods or provision of our services.
How long will we process the personal data?
If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your personal data for a maximum of two years from our last communication.
B. Processing of personal data in case of purchase
If you make a purchase from us, we will work with the personal data we need from you to ensure the conclusion of a contract for the provision of our goods or services. These are mainly billing details: first name, last name, address, email address, or phone number.
For what reason?
We need to process personal data in order to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract – delivery of goods or provision of services. Using your contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, or regarding complaints or your questions.
We will further process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from generally binding legal regulations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints and others).
On what legal basis do we process personal data?
This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – fulfillment of our legal obligation.
If you did not provide us with this personal data, we would not be able to conclude a contract with you for the supply of our goods or provision of our services.
How long will we process the personal data?
During the delivery of goods or provision of services, and then for five years from the last provision of such services or delivery of goods.
C. Newsletter (commercial communication)
If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly refused to receive marketing communications, we will use your email address to send you our marketing communications.
On what legal basis?
This is processing based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – our legitimate interests, which are marketing communication targeted at our customers.
How long will we process the personal data?
Two years from your last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at: book@trucklingo.com
II. Who gets access to the data?
Your personal data will remain with us. Nevertheless, some companies or other persons work for us who have access to your personal data because they help us run our e-shop. These are:
- the operator of the e-shop Trucklingo.com with registered office in Trenčín, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court in Žilina, Section Sro, Insert No.: 999/L
- companies involved in the dispatch of goods (Slovenská pošta, DPD, DHL, PPL SK, Packeta, Zásielkovňa)
- companies involved in payment processing (ČSOB)
- provider of emailing service
We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union.

If you believe that we are not handling the data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in our jurisdiction is the Slovak Republic, or to contact a court.
