These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “GTC”) govern the rights and obligations between Connecta CM s.r.o. as the seller and the buyer in the sale of the TRUCKLINGO language guide through the e-shop on the website www.trucklingo.com.

2. Order and Conclusion of Contract

By submitting an order, the buyer confirms that they have read these GTC and fully agree with them without reservation.

The purchase contract is concluded only upon confirmation of the order by the seller.

The seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order without stating a reason, especially in cases of suspected abuse, false information, or previous failure to accept delivered shipments.

3. Price and Payment

All prices include shipping costs and VAT, where applicable under legal regulations.

The buyer is obliged to pay the full price in advance unless the seller determines otherwise.

The seller reserves the right not to dispatch the goods until payment has been received.

4. Delivery of Goods

Goods are dispatched only after payment has been received.

Sale and distribution are limited exclusively to the countries listed on the website www.trucklingo.com.

The seller is not responsible for delivery delays caused by the carrier or circumstances beyond their control.

The risk of damage passes to the buyer upon receipt of the shipment.

5. Withdrawal from the Contract

The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods in accordance with EU legislation.

The buyer is obliged to return the goods undamaged, unused, and in their original condition.

The buyer bears the cost of returning the goods.

The seller reserves the right to reduce the refunded amount proportionally to any reduction in the value of the goods caused by their use or damage.

6. Complaints

The buyer is obliged to report defects without undue delay.

The seller is liable only for defects existing at the time of receipt of the goods.

Complaints are handled in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic.

7. Specific Nature of the Publication Content and Liability for Defects

The Trucklingo publication is a professional copyrighted work that intentionally combines official technical terminology, international logistics terms, and established transport industry practice (including professional jargon and synonyms).

The Buyer acknowledges that, within the road freight transport industry, multiple equivalent and correct terms may exist for individual technical solutions, processes, or vehicle types. Due to the scope and format of the publication, it is not technically possible to include all existing language variants, regional differences, or a complete list of synonymous expressions.

The use of one of several correct/common terms, or the omission of all possible synonymous expressions, shall not be considered a defect of the product. The Seller shall not be liable for minor stylistic errors, typographical mistakes, or translation discrepancies that do not materially alter the meaning of the text and do not prevent the proper and intended use of the publication.

8. Liability

The content of the publication is for informational purposes only.

The seller is not liable for any decisions, damages, or losses resulting from the use of the information contained in the book.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the seller shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost profits arising in connection with the purchase or use of the goods.

The seller’s total liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods.

10. Protection Against Abuse

The seller reserves the right to:

  • refuse or cancel an order without stating a reason
  • require payment exclusively in advance
  • keep records of customers who repeatedly fail to accept shipments
  • refuse to establish further business relationships with such customers

11. Personal Data Protection

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy (GDPR) published on the seller’s website.

The buyer acknowledges the processing of personal data to the extent necessary for order processing.

12. Final Provisions

Legal relations are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.

Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic unless legal regulations provide otherwise.

The seller reserves the right to amend these GTC.
